Challenge

United Warehousing had an indistinguishable brand. In 2014, the logistics and warehousing company had been purchased by Mueller Yurgae Associates, a prominent regional food broker, but nearly a year later, its name bore no affiliation with its new parent company. Not only that, “United Warehousing” was such a generic name that employees often fielded calls from people who were looking to reach other companies. The logo was dated and the signage on the buildings was inconsistent.

Solution

Lexicon developed a full branding suite for United Warehousing, beginning by renaming the company “MYA Logistics.” This association allowed the company to distinguish itself in the market and clearly identify its relationship with the Mueller Yurgae organization. Lexicon designed a striking new logo for MYA Logistics, integrating this cornerstone element across a full range of marketing components: a responsive website with custom photography, identity pieces, a capabilities brochure, building and trailer signage, and apparel. Lexicon also prepared trade ads, news releases, and client communications to support the name change announcement.
